Hillside Park offers online booking through our Booking Calendar system for facility rentals, including community center space, sports fields, pavilions, and community garden plots. All reservations are made online only; telephone reservations are not accepted at this time. When you submit a booking request, you are requesting permission to use the facility on the specified date and time. Your booking request is subject to approval by Hillside Park staff and is not a confirmed reservation until you receive written confirmation via email or our booking system.
Reservations are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Availability is updated in real-time in our online booking system. You are responsible for verifying availability and selecting the correct date, time, and facility before submitting your booking request. Once approved, your booking is confirmed when payment is received in full. Payment must be made according to our standard payment terms and accepted payment methods. A signed facility use agreement and rental contract will be provided upon approval of your booking request. Your use of the facility constitutes acceptance of all terms in the rental contract and these policies.
Booking inquiries are generally reviewed within 24 business hours. During peak seasons or for large events, review time may be extended. Hillside Park reserves the right to deny any booking request that violates these terms, our facility use policies, or applicable law. All booked facilities must be used only for the stated purpose and only by the party whose name appears on the reservation.
By booking and using Hillside Park facilities, you agree to comply with all facility use rules, including but not limited to: proper care of facilities and equipment, adherence to quiet hours and noise ordinances, prohibition of illegal substances and unlicensed alcohol, restrictions on open flames and grills (only approved grills in designated areas), no smoking (PA smoking ban compliance), proper disposal of trash and recycling, no unauthorized parking, and respect for adjacent residents and other users.
Users are responsible for the conduct of all attendees at their event or during their facility use. You are responsible for ensuring that all attendees comply with facility rules and local ordinances. Hillside Park reserves the right to end facility use immediately if rules are violated or if illegal activity occurs. Violation of facility use rules may result in cancellation of your booking, forfeiture of all fees paid, and prohibition from future bookings.
Facilities must be returned to their original condition at the end of your reserved time. Damage to facilities, equipment, or grounds during your use will be your financial responsibility, and you will be billed for all repairs or replacement. The facility user is responsible for maintaining a safe and sanitary environment throughout the rental period.
Hillside Park reserves the right to cancel or reschedule reservations due to severe weather, facility damage, or other unforeseen circumstances beyond our control. If a reservation is cancelled due to weather or circumstances beyond our control, we will make a good-faith effort to notify you as soon as possible. In cases of weather-related cancellation, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule your reservation at no additional charge, at your discretion. We will attempt to offer an alternative date within a reasonable timeframe. Decisions regarding weather-related cancellations will be made by Hillside Park management in consultation with local authorities and based on safety considerations.
You may cancel your reservation due to weather if conditions are unsafe; however, you must notify Hillside Park as soon as possible. Standard cancellation policies will apply if you cancel (see Reservation & Booking Policy section below). Hillside Park is not liable for any losses, expenses, or damages incurred due to weather-related cancellations or rescheduling.
